Jongwoo Choi

I am a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Biostatistics at Harvard University, working with Prof. Jeffrey W. Miller. Prior to joining Harvard, I received my Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Connecticut, where I was advised by Prof. Neil A. Spencer and Prof. Dipak K. Dey.

My current primary research areas are

  • Robustness to model misspecification,
  • Bayesian model assessment, including model selection and criticism,
  • Understanding AI (especially LLMs) from a statistical perspective,
  • Applications in psychiatry and cognitive neuroscience.
